Hi, everyone!

I need some help to set up the car to be preconditioned by a specific time in the morning.

My Ford Mobile is all setup, but I can't just find where I should set that. I don't understand why this stupid app can't be the same as the Nissan's.

My friend has it, and it is all so freaking easy.

I would appreciate your thoughts!
 
Did Nissan finally fix their app? It was horrific for a long time.

Sadly any US folks lost access to MFM back in 2022. But you should be able to set those times in the infotainment and through the web interface if it's not in the app anywhere.

In February 2022, ATT shut down its 3G capability in the USA. This made the cellular modems in the FFE obsolete. There was a program to replace the modems with those having 4G functionality. You could pay a Ford dealer anywhere from $400 to $1200 to have the replacement modem installed, or you could do it yourself with an Escape or other ford vehicle 4G modem. Simultaneously, Ford shut down the MyFordMobile app, and forced us to use FordPass instead. MFM was much better app for electric vehicles, and it worked far more reliably.
I am not for certain, but I believe Canadians still have access to a 3G cellular network, and the MFM app might still work for them.
 
MyFordMibile was tied to specific 2G and 3G SIMs. AT&T 2G was sunset at the end of 2016 and AT&T 3G was sunset at the end of 2022. At that point the app was shut down for US users.

Folks with a new enough vehicle could buy an LTE modem, but it was tied to FordPass - MyFordMobile no longer exists for US drivers. Not sure if it's still going for Canada (assuming it ever "officially" existed) and probably wasn't intended for any other market even when it was running.
