Per the title, I'm parting out the 23kWh pack from my 2012 FFE. Everything is available individually; cell modules, heat exchangers, wiring, computers, hardware, etc.
Let me know what you need and make me an offer.
For some reason the plastic cover behind the rear seats is missing 2 of the plastic clips. The PN is CV6Z-00817-D, but they have been discontinued. Does anyone happen to have spares on hand?
You might just have to bite the bullet and get a cheap windows laptop or tablet. The mobile versions of Forscan don't have as many features.
I second what Anti_Climax said; it sounds like coolant isn't getting to the battery. Do you also find that 240V charging takes much longer than estimated?
Does anyone know what Ford does to get 33.5 kWh batteries to work in 23 kWh cars? I just swapped one into my 2012 FFE and I cannot get it to work.
Alternatively, would anyone with an upgraded car and Forscan be willing to post the Part and Firmware numbers of the modules in their car?

Old thread I know, but since google has picked it up it's worth pointing out that math is incorrect. There are indeed 20 cells in the larger modules and 10 in the smaller ones. However, each group of 5 cells are connected in parallel; the large modules are 4s5p and the smaller ones 2s5p.

Howdy All,
I've done a lot of research in my efforts to find a viable fix for the coolant leak that will eventually kill all FFEs made before 2017. I've learned a lot, but it all got me wondering what a hard EOL would look like for the batteries in our cars. Would it be catastrophic? As best I...
