Bypassing the lower pack is recommended, yes. It will eventually leak as well. As for the upper pack, draining it alone is not likely to fix the SSN message. If you do end up removing the cooling plates, please let me know. I would like to purchase a few dozen.

Per title: I am looking to buy a few dozen of the heat exchanger plates from the FFE battery packs. If anyone that deleted their cooling system still has any, please let me know.

Howdy All, What are the connectivity options for 2012-2015 FFEs? The dealer was able to order a 4G modem upgrade kit for my 2012, but I can't find any info on installing it in a pre-2016 MY car. Fordpass might suck, but it's better than nothing.
