You guys probably already did this, but just in case any new owners are reading this thread, you can have the car connect to your home or work WIFI if it is parked in range. This will give it better connectivity and also allow it to download system updates.

If running without the front plate, be sure to put it up behind your windshield if you are parking in ticket happy places like LA. My front plate holder was simply drilled into the plastic and held there with two screws. Not too happy about the permanent holes...

This was mentioned in another thread but I did it and it's easy: Remove the rear head rests if you are not carrying passengers in the back seat. You get improved visibility out of the rear view mirror and also shed about 3 pounds.

Been a while since this thread was active... Has anyone found a good summer tire to improve traction? Like others here, I'm will to trade a little less range for better acceleration traction and stopping distance.

Thanks for the reply. The music may have some distortion but it is hard to tell with 9 speakers. In general it sounds okay. I was just wondering if the navigation voice was crystal clear for everyone else. I'll see what the dealer says and follow up here.

I noticed that the navigation voice has a lot of background static noise. Is this normal for everyone or do I have a faulty speaker? This is in a new 2016 Focus Electric with the Sync 3 system. Thanks.
