There is no fuse. I thought about using one, but thought that the LED's use so little power I'd never have an issue. The lump is a butt connector under shrink tubing. The last six inches of the wire is a Ford harness connector.

Sorry, negative status. Not surplus. It said I used 45 miles of power to go the 35 miles. The one lap around the track took 5 miles so I wasn't able to run again because I needed power to get home. Next year the car will get hauled so I can make 15-20 runs.

I didn't have to leave them on. On the trip there (35 miles), I ended up a negative 10 surplus. Thats why I was only able to do one run. When I put them on, I noticed they felt around 8-10 lbs heavier than the EV wheels. The tires are also ALOT stickier, they pick up all the gravel on the road.
