I'd hope so too! I guess the Focus Electric would be under warranty long enough that at least any major bugs should be covered by Ford and not out of pocket expenses - that's assuming a bug doesn't cause the electric power steering to stop working at just the wrong time!

Great point about off-peak charging. It's using up wasted energy so your electric vehicle is actually reversing CO2 emissions - essentially. I won't be buying the Ford Focus Electric strictly for financial benefit. The cost savings of the Focus EV are just a bonus for me!
