So I had to pull the pack off the car at some point and the battery inside is 23kWh - looks like all the old packs will leak sooner or later :(

So here is my battery label - clearly states 33.5kWh But I don't see any HM5 BECM firmware availabe (there is H1F) and car works like this battery was 23kWh. Any idea where to look for solution? Ford support is out of question as this car was imported from Canada to EU and they don't like...

I've been trying to sniff what Forscan does and it's sending some requests as it shows cell min voltage. One more question - during the AC charging is the charging power given somewhere in CAN frame or I would have to calculate like amps times pack voltage?

Sefs, Can you ask for voltage of any cell or you just can get min-max?

I suspect you need different firmware in the car to see this.

I think it was mentioned before that you can't charge faster than 11kW via AC as car will get into faulty state. All you can add is 3.3kW charger like sefs did - otherwise you need to charge it directly when car is on (and car accepts such current as also sefs tested it already and it worked...

OK so I have found some time to play with CAN as it gets warmer. My method is kinda brute force. I'm replaying messages previously recorded at different car state (like SOC, weather). I don't see people are willing to share the knowledge so I will do - as there is so little known about FFE CAN...

That would be great - the only problem is that I have imported this car from Canada and I live in Europe :) - I'm almost 100% sure no Ford dealership here is able to do that :(

Today I've been driving until FFE stopped refusing to drive. I could get 19.1 kWh out of the battery from 100% charged. Not great for 33.5kWh battery. Wondering if the battery replacement came with separate ECU/BMS or they used the same ones.

Just compared 2 CAN sessions, IDLE and plugged in. Turns out that the only new CAN messages were 0x400, 0x405 and 0x40a. Will have to check those closer.

It looks like when I use around 19 kWh it leaves me with 7 km of range left. Maybe I should drive it until it stops?

So my main question is as I use SavvyCAN to do decoding - what IDs I need to look at to make contactron close to make battery available for charging.
