I have a 2013 FFE and just noticed that the wall plug end of my charger is melted. Any one else have this issue? Local dealer needs the car and the cord to diagnose what the source of the problem is. It was plugged into a standard 15A garage socket. Ideas and solutions? Thanks

Where is it melted? The problem may be your outlet. Loose connection = high resistance = voltage drop = heat

It is probably the outlet.

STOP using that outlet, and any others on the same circuit, and have an electrician check it out your wiring immediately. If you can, turn off the circuit for the "melty" socket at the breaker box.

If the wiring inside the wall has been damaged by the heat, and you continue using the circuit (even though other sockets and switches on the circuit may seem to work working fine), you are risking a house fire.
