:lol: yeah the negative one about it killing the onboard charger made me chuckle. Believe me I had thought about going the arduino route. From my JuiceBox I already have the FTDI cable and the development platform on my laptop. I tweaked a few things in the code mostly to eliminate my false GFI problem. The problem with the arduino is the IO is 5V. So for just getting the 12V pilot signal I might as well just use the 555 timer and forego the arduino.I fully intend this to function like a "real" EVSE:-plug EVSE into car-soon after relays energize-car charges-relays de-energize when car is done charging. I'll just be ignoring a large portion of the J1772 spec that isn't absolutely necessary for the car to charge :lol:
