I would speculate that they were developed with one of the cross-OS environments where you can just click on: "Build for iOS" and "Build for Android".
I have had the two be out of sync, though: After performing a master reset one didn't recognize the 2nd in-car confirmation after 24 hours and the other did (which resulted in what you're seeing: some screens were disabled on the one that didn't recognize the confirmation). I ended up having to do a 2nd master reset which was recognized by both.
Well it works in that it lets me enter in an address and search for it. It didn't work for me as I put my home address in while sitting at work and it said: "You may not be able to make this trip due to insufficient battery"! (a trip I make daily..hmm).Olagon said:Thanks. Does "Trip Planner" work for you?

Ah pressing update so the app has the most current battery state seems to have fixed that so yes, yes it does LOL It even provided a handy "Send to SYNC" button at the very end.
(This was on my Android phone.)
No you have to run the iPhone version on the iPad. There is no iPad specific version (which means when searching the app store select: iPhone).Olagon said:I also tried to find the iPad version and it doesn't show up for me on the app store. It may be that I'm running 1 version iOS behind.
