I think the next gen Focus would benefit from a faster onboard charger. Upgrading to a 10kWh onboard charger should offer 29 miles of charge per hour(compared with the 21 miles now) or full charge in little over 2.5 hrs at 240v. That would be about .5 miles per minute of charge. Where a quick 15 minute charge would offer a 7.5 mile charge.
