I am trying to work out a long distance deal as there are no Focus EVs available in Texas yet. Every dealer I have started negotiating with has told me that Ford does not do a lease on the Focus EV. Is that true?

Thanks for any help.

Absolutely they do. It is actually a Ford motor company lease. I was offered the lease back in May, but declined. I only know about Schlutz Ford in Nanuet, NY. 845-624-3600. I bought my car on a long distance purchase. They offered to arrange shipping, however, I drove it home.
They have two in the showroom and I am not pushing them, but if you call, ask for John Fastiggi who sold to me over the telephone. Good luck....

Ford just recently announced a lease incentive program on the 2013 FFE. So if you've contacted a dealer over 30 days ago, you may want to check back in with them.

I have SOLD several on the lease program here in San Diego, with about 5,000 down you should be around 250.00 per month payment. Depending on rebates and dealer incentives...

I just signed a lease in Denver for a 2012 for $230 per month $0 down. It should here be next week. I also contacted a California dealer who offered to ship one to me for $810 shipping, $2800 down, $199 per month

Wow, that is a phenomenal price. What is the annual mileage?

Which dealer was that in California?

1050. You could up it for a price, but it is plenty for me.

Hi there. I am in N. Cali, and here are the numbers for my lease of a 2012 FFE ($41.5K optioned car).

3 year/12K miles per year
$9,799.00 TOTAL (inclusive of all taxes, fees, rebates, etc...) THis is my total cost for 3 years. COme to around $270/month all-in. How can you beat that!!

Here's my experience, it is nothing like what is being described by others in this thread. Maybe it is because I got a 2013, maybe it is because I'm in Washington State, maybe there are other factors I don't understand.

$40,995 2013 FFE
39 month term
12k miles per year
$5000 down
$7800 tax credit applied as rebate
making it approx $400/month including tax, etc.

I walked into the dealership expecting the deals I've been reading about on this forum as well as online, however my sales guy could not figure out how to get the same numbers.

I was able to get a $200/mo lease because it was a '12, and the dealership got FoMoCo Credit to provide a competitive lease rate given that I had leased previously with Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge. They have to get creative and be somewhat knowledgeable of the tools available to them. Best to go to a dealer that is familiar with the process. They can trade for the car you want if in reasonable proximity.

I think the trick is to find a 2012. One dealer only had 2013s and would not deal period. But two dealers that had 2012s had some pretty good deals. Zero down, $259 a month for 36 months (+tax & govt fees), that is what I got. I saw a few at this price and two weeks after I bought mine I saw a $239 a month deal. Normally I prefer to buy a car outright but these are good deals financially and they reduce the technical risk that the vehicle will not perform well over the long term.

Bought ours (my wife says its her's) at Bob Wondries Ford in Alhambra. I did not see any advertised this weekend but have for a few weeks. You could call and see if they have any 2012s before even asking about price. I don't have the other company ad from a month ago or since but you could check inventories online or call and see if they have 2012s, then you could cite these older ads as a reference price if their openning offer is too high. If they have them I can't imagine they would not offer a similar deal. Good luck, it really is a great car. My wife loves it and I am impressed with its build quality and good ride.

Hi Yakers, what is the mileage on your lease?
10,500 a year for 3 years. I thought it might not be enough but we are having trouble putting more than 500-600 miles a month although that is a lot of local trips. I guess I never noticed how many miles our long vacation trips put on our cars.

I obtained a FFE 2012 just two months ago from Mulhaney Ford in Arroyo Grande, CA. I took the 3 year lease offer because it is so good: No money down, 0.25% per month and they give you all the rebates.
I asked the dealer for a copy of the invoice which he did. The car cost them from Ford $38,600. There is currently a $7500. Federal Tax credit, a $2500. California rebate and a $2000. Ford rebate. If you get a lease they deduct all these amounts from the total ($12000.). I didn't even have to apply for the rebates. My total cost is $325. per month. I took the 10,400 mile year option and the damage waiver on finishing the lease. I love the car, I plug it in every night to my solar powered house.

Leased a 2013 FFE w/ leather seats and 15K miles per year here in Southern California. Zero down and I rolled all the drive off fees (registration, title, etc.) into the monthly payments. My only payment at signing was the 1st months payment of $384 (35 more payments to go!). When you factor in the costs of the leather seats and the 15K miles per year it's a little more than what Bijou is paying, but I received other quotes in the area for as high as $461 per month so I'm happy with the deal I got.

Day 4 and I absolutely love driving it.
