I found one other thread that referenced the Key Personalization feature of MyFord Mobile but it didn't address my questions.

How does it work when both key fobs are in the vehicle at the same time? Is one dominant in that situation? Can you adjust that or just figure it out through trial & error?

When you turn the car off, are the Lifetime Summary stats different depending on which key was determined to be "driving"? I know from reading about Key Personalization on MFM that the car will adjust its guess-o-meter range predictions based on which key is "driving" and that key's past driving efficiency. It will also show miles "driven" by that key online in MFM as well.

Thanks!

I think it just picks whichever one responds "first" in the car. It is fairly easy to figure out which key was used to start the car:
Customize the dash for one key, then customize the dash for the other key completely different. Then with both keys in the car start it--the one its using will show in the dashboard configuration.

When I first got the car I thought I was going nuts because it appeared that the dash would reset my settings. I later learned that it was just the car picking up on the other key. (Had this same situation in a C-Max rental--since they give you both keys bound to the same keyring: each time I would start that car it would randomly pick which key it would use and configure the dash accordingly--I eventually just set both keys to the same display.)

I've found with my parents' C-Max Energi that when they're both in the car my mom's key is always the one that shows on MyFord Mobile for that trip.

I didn't know about dash customization. I will have to check that out.
