Hi all -

First, thanks for offering this service!

I am having a problem with the forum search function. When searching for a term, I have frequently found that the forum software will reject my search with the following message:

The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: (terms inserted here). You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.

Today I am have this problem with *ALL* of the following searches:

value charge
value
"value charge"

Now, I can understand rejecting a search for "the" or "car". But "value"? Or even "value charge" IN QUOTES?

Is something wrong with the software?

In the meantime, Google is my friend: https://www.google.com/search?q="value+charge"+site:www.myfocuselectric.com

I agree... the search in these forums can be pretty frustrating.

Fwiw, I don't think the search field understands quotes (i.e., adding quotes doesn't change anything).

I also agree that it thinks way too many words are "common".
