We're getting only about 30-35 miles of usable range at this point when fully charged. Just charged it from being on the 1 mile left warning last night when I parked it in the driveway, and it only added 13.1KW to the battery to get to fully charged according to the stats in our JuiceBox charging app (yet another clean energy company going out of business ugh!).
I've heard the battery packs are wicked expensive to replace, way more than the car is worth. Is there any recourse with Ford on getting it replaced since it wore out so quickly? Shouldn't a lithium ion battery pack be able to handle 1500-2000 charge cycles? Doing the math let's say 60k / 100 miles per full charge would equal 600 cycles, obviously we don't always wait until it's fully discharges to charge it, but our usage has varied. 5% of our charges were using the 110V that came with it, 94% of our charges were with the Jukebox home charger (40Amp, 220 volt) and only 1% were at EVGO fast chargers. We've definitely done a mix of plugging it in 10% full, 50% full, 75% and maybe a few times we charged it when it was already 80% full when we wanted to go on a longer trip the next day. Never limited the charge, so always let it charge to 100, not sure if that was the best idea.
Anyone have any luck getting help from Ford on these? What is the best path for us to get this help?
