Increase the standard onboard charger to at least 15 kW

At 6kW, about 2.5 hours (judging how my current FFE seems to gauge its percentages around an effective 30kWh usable, I'm assuming you'd need to charge 15kWh).

    Any Programable EVSE

eMotorWerks also has a new product (backordered) called the JuicePlug, which lets you custom configure charge rate (slowing it down) and time for any EVSE- https://emotorwerks.com/store/residential/juiceplug-a-universal-smart-ev-charging-adapter

Increase the standard onboard charger to at least 15 kW

Yeah one of the main advantages of the 2017+ is that CCS/SAE (Combo) DC fast charger. Look at http://plugshare.com/ for the "orange" stations. First, in the upper right, hit More Options and change your filters so only EV Plugs and CCS DC fast charging stations show up. Then look for orange...

New 2017 Models below $20k BEFORE tax credit

Yeah, though wait a while during 2018.... Ford's lunch will be empty between the Leaf '18, Model 3 and Bolt (whatever comes of it). Hopefully they have a better trick for '19.

    PERFORMANCE TUNING ANYONE?

Car works fine for me, I don't drive over 80MPH much at all. Long distances maybe but under those circumstances I'd be the ******* doing 60 in the right lane to save power... not enough battery to warrant driving 80+ (and I don't go from 40 to 80, then come off a ramp, 80 is one of those speeds...

FFE stopped charge at 170km and 80% SOC

EVSE still working? Any ground fault alerts?

Chrome/FireFox extension for MyFordMobile to load/save full trip log

I see; my main bookmark for MFM is "www.myfordmobile.com" which wasn't working. Chopping off the www. prefix works.

Chrome/FireFox extension for MyFordMobile to load/save full trip log

Thanks! I installed this and I'm looking at the MFM website, Trip & Charge log, but I don't see any new buttons?

    Yeah.... they certainly could. Lol

Admin user try to access my vehicule

Slightly unrelated, when I bought my 2017 FFE a couple weeks ago the salesman warned me... while you can plug in your Home address in the favorites in the Nav system, he urged me not to do so. He's seen folks mugged before or overwhelmed by folks trying to mug them who get ahold of the keys...

Admin user try to access my vehicule

You can track the vehicle via MyFordMobile, this person may have noticed your car parked somewhere, wrote down the VIN, is trying to gain MyFordMobile access and at this point stealing things from the car would be all too easy- they know where it's parked AND have the electronic means to unlock...

    FFE level 2 EVSE

I doubt any of us could answer that... Is there a sub-panel inside the garage?

12V current draw when car is off?

Thinking what it would take to produce a gadget that could handle live loads from the car's battery, but measure down to the milliamp range and be left under the hood... A 100-microohm current shunt resistor - http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Vishay/WSBS8518L1000JK This can dissipate up to...

Stranded and trying to charge with generator

Ok from the little bit of reading I've done, a few issues with generators: 1. Neutral and GND should be tied together via resistor, if the generator doesn't already do it. This is a common problem with L1. You can build or buy an adapter that does this. The EVSE will check that GND is...

Stranded and trying to charge with generator

This is a good question I'm (not too seriously) considering, do we need to use an inverter generator (and/or is it a generally "safe" option or is an "inverter" still no guarantee)? What 240V options are out there?

    2017 FFE...no more allocation for 2017

It'd be a shame if they're not serious about EVs. The FFE '17 is a nice car and I'm happy I bought one. I get that they're concentrating more on the C-Max/Fusion Energi Hybrids, and they're selling more, but they could sell more FFE's if they marketed better. The mileage bump and DCFC really...

AC not using heater to regulate temp in 2017 model?

My first experience with the FFE is my new 2017, but I tried turning the temp up to 80F and didn't notice the GOM battery range drop. Was expecting that based on reading others' reports here. Does the FFE's heater system use scavenged waste heat from the motor/inverter/charger? (Also on that...

100WH/KM?IF YOU Have 33.5kw you can drive 290km one charge

100wh/km is around 160wh/mile (US), that's insane, how do you drive? No A/C assumed and less than 80km/h all the time?
