You probably noticed by now that every time your Sync 3 Bluetooth connects to your iPhone, it maxes out your ringer volume, which can be very annoying personally. I just found a solution. When you go in "settings" then "sounds", and switch off the "change with buttons", the problem seems to be resolved. However, I think it starts to maxing out the regular volume instead, which I think it is better than maxing out my ringer volume, because I hate waking up from loud ringtone in the morning.

I had this exact same experience!! For the first phew weeks i had my car i'd be exploded out of bed in the morning to my alarm ringer! I too pinpointed it to the car so its always been habit now to check ringer before bed... but i'm going to try your fix.
