I have an issue with our 2011 Focus, I opened the bonnet without unlocking the car to check the washer bottle, this triggered the alarm (soon cancelled by unlocking the car), and after topping up the washer bottle I shut the bonnet and locked the car. Now the battery loses charge within a couple of days. I’ve had the battery check and all appears ok. Is there anything silly that I may have done to cause a drain on the system? More to the point, can it be undone? Or is it a case of replacing the battery anyway, not my preferred choice since it will set me back £75.

This Forum is for the Focus Electric. The Focus Electric was introduced in MY 2012. I think you may have the wrong forum.
