Focus Electrics in Maryland

I was surprised to find out that Apple Ford in Columbia, Maryland made some kind of deal with the factory that if they bought 6 Escapes, they were allowed to have 2 Focus Electrics as well. I live about 25 miles from them, so I bought the first Focus Electric sold in Maryland! I've had my Blue Candy FFE for almost 2 weeks now and am blown away by what an amazing car it is....

From your experience, what is the actual range of the focus?... and does it charge as fast as it is advertised?

Looks like the FFE has been release in Maryland/Virginia. Most of the local Ford dealers around Baltimore and DC are showing 1 or 2 FFEs for sale. The dealer I bought mine from (Apple Ford in Columbia, MD) has 10 for sale - that's right - TEN.

From your experience, what is the actual range of the focus?... and does it charge as fast as it is advertised?

I've been consistently seeing 70-90 on my range in Maryland. Love my FFE!
