I find it interesting and also disappointing that there are so many 'TBD' on that Focus electric fact sheet. Granted, Ford doesn't have specs on the Focus Electric's acceleration or braking distance yet (or maybe jsut hasn't done the tests).
Shouldn't they know cargo and passenger space by now, or are they still not sure on the battery locations? But the sheet shows the battery locations so maybe they are just not sure on the battery sizes?
I also find #7 to be interesting - Modular Powertrain Cradle: Enables the entire propulsion system to be inserted as one piece within the engine compartment and isolated from the body.
Why? What's the advantage to having the propulsion system isolated from the body?
