Should we keep these plates?

We just got our license plates: GAS 332
My wife wants to return them to the DMV because, well, you don't put plates with GAS on an EV!
My teenage son, OTOH, thinks it's so ironic and funny that we should keep them.
I'm not sure what to think. So... I'm wondering what all of you FFE drivers think? Should we keep these plates or send them back to the DMV?

I'm not sure what to do either... the pure irony is almost too much. On the other hand, you'll really confuse people who notice you're driving an electric car.

Also... I suppose, some places in the country, gas might still be $3.32, but not where I live.

I'd send those back and try to get "Gas 101" or the likes.
