Nissan Leaf has poor results in IIHS crash tests

The Leaf scores poorly on the IIHS Small Overlap crash test.

The C-Max Hybrid performs better.

They have not tested the Focus Electric but the gas Focus performs pretty well in this test.

Interesting how the Focus small overlap crash description says "the drivers survival space was not maintained well." And the dummy's head slid off the airbag and into the pillar area not protected by the side curtain. Not good, but perhaps the LEAF was more severe.
