Most EV groups hibernate all winter but not ours. The Albany Capital District EV Drivers had not one, but two meets this winter. One of them had a Focus EV in attendance as well. On December 29th we caravanned through Washington Park's Capital Holiday Lights festival.









Then on January 26th, we were invited to the Madison Theater's EV Expo night, that featured the screening of George Pakenham's "Idle Threat" documentary, which deals with enforcing the 3 minute curbside idling law in New York City. We had six EVs in attendance, a Ford Focus EV, a VW E-Golf, a Honda Fit EV, a BMW i3, and two Nissan LEAFs.

EV Test Drives. Six dealers will new electric vehicles available for you to drive.

There will be two festivals, Little Italy and a Greek festival with food and music. A NYSERDA outreach event and other attractions.

Take part in our EV group photo. There will be a Wellness Fair next door. The Albany Bicycle Rescue folks will be there with bikes.

There will be Solar power vendor displays to show the advantages of making your own clean energy and saving money.
