Update.
I come by today, 5th visit to get the APIM replaced. I just got a call to inform me that it is indeed, bad and I will need to come back on Tuesday, to replace it. Even though I was told today they would be replacing it, I was told I was just bringing the car in for another "test".
Maybe, they'll have it fixed by the 6th visit. UGH.

Update:
Later in the day Thursday, they called me back and said they would overnight the APIM for a Friday install and software upgrade.
They installed the APIM yesterday but still can't install software. Advisor told me Ford had some sort of fire 2 or 3 weeks ago and even since then, they're having a hard time getting good software packages. So I still don't have my car back.
Losing all faith.
