The auto parts don't stock them. Sold me the wrong one - 66548 - does NOT fit. So far I found one used on Ebay but I'm looking for some NEW ones. I have a 2012 Focus Electric.

My FFE 2014 have Osram Xenarc 66548

I bought the same ones you did on Amazon for $90/set. My old ones were like yours, 66549.

However, a slight modification is needed. There is a notch that you have to cut into the new plastic ring. Just compare the old vs the new and you will see where it needs to be. I used a dremel tool to do it and it came out perfect.

Regards.

Had to replace my bulbs as well and wanted to add onto the thread. Same original number, discontinued by Osram and same substitute. 1000004566.jpg

In my case, both have the same notch but the replacements do not have locking rings1000004653.jpg
Thankfully, I was able to remove the ring and swap it over1000004655.jpg1000004657.jpg
Now the only remaining problem is that the locking ring is so tight I can't get it to latch back in place, even with the existing bulb. The grips are out to the sides when locked, so it's easy to get a hold on them with decent leverage. But when putting them back, they are crammed into the corners with no real way to get decent grip on them. Going to try 3D printing a wrench of sorts that can get down in there. Wish me luck.

So, it turns out my headlights are not matched. Likely due to the replacement following the accident. The driver side assembly is manufactured by VARROC and uses a 66548 without modification. The passenger side is manufactured by VISTEON and is keyed for the 66549. Also pretty sure the locking rings don't match exactly. Even trying to mount the 66548 in the VARROC with the correct ring, I needed quite a bit of torque on that wrench to get it to seat.

So I guess I should put the STL file up online for other folks to use in the future. Still need to modify the other side. Debating cutting a notch on the bulb or just grinding out the tab on the headlamp socket. The latter means I won't have to do it again.
