2019 is the when Ford is planning to roll out the Model E product line. This produce line will replace the Cmax Energi and the FFE. Personally I'm in a bit of a bind myself. My lease ends in June of 2018, and I live in Illinois. Which is not an allocated state. So I have two choices. I can find a dealer on the East coast, lease the car from them and pay to have it transported to me. Or I can extend my lease month to month and wait for Ford to release the Model E series in "early 2019". I am leaning toward leasing a 2018 and having it shipped to me. With the recent price drop, that will more than cover the expense of having my car transported. Also I don't want to be at the mercy of whenever Ford works out the production bugs and finally releases that product line. Or dealing with the bugs they didn't find. We all know that the early FFE's kind of sucked.
