Rodent damage

Previous problems I have reported were caused by chipmunks chewing on my wiring. They also like the foam cover over the motor and controller in the front motor compartment. I found two building a nest under the controller, etc. Mothballs didn't seem to help much. I paid a Ford dealership to wrap my exposed wiring with tape sold by Honda for that purpose. It contains capsicum (hot pepper ingredient). Rodents chewing on wiring insulation appears to be a widespread problem for many car makes.

So did your Honda tape help? What's it called? Where do you buy it?

Seem to recall the rodent problem started when they used soy in the insulation.
