Wrecked my car today - nobody injured

Our FFE was in a rear end collision yesterday. Drive hit the car while stopped for a pedestrian. Every one is OK. Damage is not quite as bad. Can I ask what State Farm used for the value. KBB does not have the FFE for 2013? If the repair is ~15k, and the value is $30k, I would be close to 50%...

Fantatstic nobody was hurt. Ironic, between your car and mine, we have one whole one. Would be even wilder if yours was ingot silver.

They used my loan amount. They needed a copy of the bill of sale. This was also probably kind of a special case, the car was 6 weeks old.

As I understand it, State Farm uses the NADA price guide. There was no listing for my car, so they had to fall back to actual costs.

Good luck with the estimating and getting it replaced or repaired. It is a long process. If it is repaired, remind the body shop the car can't go in the heated paint curing booth.
